Road Skating: Nung-16 Square or Dream Mall Department
Artistic Skating: National Sun Yat-sen University or Haiqing Commerce and Industry
Stadium
Hockey: Hockey field of extreme sport stadium or The Chung Cheng Martial Arts
Stadium.
Freestyle skating: Ice hockey field of extreme sport stadium

6. The Age of Participants:
a. Artistic Skating
Senior: Over 16 years old (Born before Jan 1st, 1994)
Junior: Over 12 years old and under 16 years old (Born after Jan 1st, 1994
and before Jan 1, 1998.)
b. Artistic Inline Skating: Over 12 years old (Born before Jan 1 ,1998)
c. Free style Skating
Senior: Over 16 years old (Born before Jan 1, 1994)
Junior: Over 11 years old and under 16 years old (Born after Jan 1, 1994 and before Jan 1st, 1999.)
d. Speed Skating
Senior: Over 17 years old (Born before Jan 1st, 1993)
Junior: Over 13 years old and under 17 years old (Born after Jan 1st, 1993 and before Jan 1st,
1997.)
e. Hockey: Over 14years old (Born before Jan 1 ,1996)
] Skaters who had participated in the Asian Skating Championship as SENIOR and under
16(artistic)、17(speed) years old are not allowed to participate in the junior competitions.
7. Number of Participants
I. Artistic Skating: CIPA competition rules are applied.
A. Senior: Maximum: 12 in female and male separately
(1) Individual Figure Skating: 12 skaters
a. Compulsory Artistic: 3 males and 3 females
b. Free Style: 3 males and 3 females
c. Combined: 3 males and 3 females
(2) Pairs Skating: 3 pairs
(3) Skating Dance: 3 pairs
B. Junior: Maximum: 8 in female and male separately.
(1) Individual Artistic Skating: 8 skaters
a. Artistic: 2 males and 2 females
b. Free style: 2 males and 2 females
c. Combined: 2 males 2 females
(2) Pairs Skating: Two groups at most. 2 male and 2 female competitors in each
group.
(3) Skating Dance: Two groups at most. 2 male and 2 female competitors in each
group.
C. Inline Artistic Skating: Maximum: 2 in female and male separately.
II. Freestyle Skating:
A. Senior: Maximum: 6 in female and male separately
(1) Speed Slaloms: 3 males and 3 females.
(2) Free Slalom: 3 males and 3 females
B. Junior: Maximum: 6 in female and male separately
(1) Speed Slaloms: 3 males and 3 females
(2) Free Slalom: 3 males and 3 females
C. Pairs Free Slalom: 3 pairs, regardless of age and gender.
III. Speed Skating: CIC competition rules are applied.
A. Senior: Maximum: 8 in female and male separately
B. Junior: Maximum: 8 in female and male separately
C. The number of each event of each country/region will be 2 males and 2 females, except relay.
IV. Hockey: CIRH and CIRILH rules and FIRS rules are applied.
A. Inline: A group of 16 male competitors as well as a group of 16 female competitors.
B. Rink: A group of 10 male competitors as well as a group of 10 female competitors.
※ If the number of participating teams is less than three, the event should be cancelled.

6) 3,000m American relay (three people in a group)
(2) Road Race:
1) 200m Time Trial
2) 500m Pre-empt competition
3) 10,000m Total points race and elimination
4) 20,000m Elimination
5) 5,000m American relay (three of a group)
D: Hockey Skating:
(1) Inline Hockey Skating
(2) Rink Hockey Skating
9. Uniform and equipments
(A) Skaters must wear uniforms in the Opening Ceremony and the races. Helmets are compulsory in racing skating competitions.
(B) Athletes in both figure skating and freestyle skating must submit the tapes or CDs of the music to the referee a day before the competition, and clearly write down the name of certain organizations, the name of the athletes, genders, groups, and events. No other music pieces are allowed to be included in CDs or tapes.

11. The deadline for registration:
Preliminary registration due: May 20, 2010.
Final registration due: June 15, 2010.
12. Registration fee: Collected by Confederation of Asian Roller Sports
(1) 50 U.S. dollars per racing skating athlete, and extra 50 U.S. dollars per team for participating
relay.
(2) 50 U.S. dollars per figure skating athlete, and 50 U.S. dollars per pair skating.
(3) Freestyle skating: 50 U.S. dollars per skater, 50 dollars per pair.
(4) Rink/inline hockey: 150 U.S. dollars per team.
13. Awards:
(A) In artistic events, compulsory, free skating and combined will be awarded separately.
(B) Gold, silver and bronze medals will be presented to the top three ranks in each event.
(C) Certificates will be presented to the top 6 places in each event.

15. Accommodation and local transportation
(1)During the competition, all the food, accommodation and local transportation expense of CARS CC members the international referee will be taken care of by Kaohsiung City Hall, and Chinese Taipei Roller Sports Federation. Yet, air tickets are not included.
(2)All delegations pay for their own room and board and business allowance.
(3)The assigned lists of hotels and the price for each room per night will be announced shortly.
(4) For those who do not wish to stay in the assigned hotels, pick-up service from the airport and shuttle
bus service are not included during the competition. USD$65 (NT$2000) will be charged per
person as the service fee in the competition.

16. Drug tests: Top three rank skaters in speed events are requested to draw lots to have the drug test.
17. Flag: Two flags, measured 1.4M by 2.1M, are required in the competition.
18. Transport:
1. Local Transportation: Shuttle buses are arranged from the hotel to the stadium.
2. International routes: It is strongly recommended to all participating teams to transfer from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung International Airport since it is the most convenient way to arrive in Taiwan.
] Pick-up service from the Kaohsiung airport to the hotel is arranged.
19. Visa: Due to the fact that applying for the Visa takes time, we highly recommend all participants to contact with your embassies or offices in Taiwan in advance. If you need any further assistance from our Organizing Committee, please notify us first.
22. Insurance: During the competition, all competitions and the participants have insurances for the
health and against accidents.
23. Climate: The average temperature is 33.1 ° C and the average humidity is 79%
24. If the participating teams choose to stay in any of the assigned hotels, we will assist with application of the Landing Visa matter with no charge. However, US$100 is charged per person for handling the Landing Visa if you choose not to stay in any of the assigned hotels.
25. Others:
A. Confederation of Asian Roller Sports has the rights in using athletes’ pictures and videos etc. to promote the development, the events or the activities of roller skating.
B. Please be sure that all the teams and individuals have the insurance against any injuries and accidents regarding this competition.
C. Once the registration is completed and the participating teams take part in the games, all the regulations and rules are considered as an agreement to the events.
